The Michigan United Kickers traveled to Florida to compete in the 2024 Florida Classic O50 division after only one organized practice. Their coach and three Jamaica-based players did not see the team until they arrived in Florida to play.

Game one saw the Kickers struggle to play as a team, however, they simply outclassed their opponent, Islanders United, and won 6-4.

The Kickers played better in Game two, defeating a very stubborn L&K SC 5-2. This win, combined with the other round robin results, secured a spot in the semifinals.

The result of Game three did not matter since the Kickers were already guaranteed to go through to the semifinals, so they rested several key players. Bench players saw significant time during this match that resulted in a 2-1 win for the kickers against a Coral Springs Fusion side that was considerably overmatched.

The semifinals placed the Kickers against a Canadian team known as North 50. North 50 had ended the Detroit Bullets' hopes of securing back-to-back Championships the day before and had their eyes set on knocking out yet another MUSL team. The Michigan United Kickers would have none of that as they pasted North 50 4-1 to advance to the finals.

In the finals, the Kickers faced a very talented TNT X-Men team that many remembered from the 2023 semifinal overtime thriller vs the Detroit Bullets that catapulted the Bullets to the 2023 Championship. TNT, although formidable, were unable to match the Kickers' pace throughout the game. The Kickers cruised to a 5-1 win and took home the hardware convincingly.

Congrats to the Michigan United Kickers on their epic run!
